Chloroplast- specializes in photosynthesis, pancake looking textures in the plant cell.

Central Vacuole- Increases cell surface area, stores metabolic wastes. Looks like a bowl. It stores food, water, and wastes.
Nucleus- keeps DNA and its transcription into RNA away from potentially damaging reactions in cytoplasm. To control the many functions of the cell. It does this by communicating with surrounding cytoplasm via numerous nuclear pores.
Ribosomes- attached to rough ER and free cytoplasm sites of protein synthesis.
Ribosomes are the sites where amino acids are assembled into proteins.
Rough ER- modifies new polypeptide chains; synthesizes lipids, provides surface area for protein synthesis.
Smooth ER diverse roles; makes lipids, degrades fats, inactivates toxins. functions in metabolic processes, including synthesis of lipids, metabolism of carbs and calcium concentration, drug detoxification, and attachment of receptors on cell membrane proteins.
Golgi Apparatus- modifies, sorts & ships proteins & lipids into cell membranes, it sorts, and packages proteins.
Lysosome- Like Vesicle digests, recycles materials. powerful digestive enzymes that digest excess or worn-out organelles, food particles and bacteria or viruses.
Mitochondrion- energy power house produces ATP. they generate most of the cell's supply of cells energy.
Cytoskeleton- supports, impacts shape and moves cell and components.
Tonoplast- holds vacuole together,semi-permeable phospholipid bilayer membrane encloses large central vacuole and permits entry and exit of material between the cytoplasm and the vacuole.
